 We are holding our Christmas Market for the second year running at the centre this year.
We would love you to come and support us and the stall holders who will be selling some beautiful items for you and your loved ones to enjoy. Handmade crafts & jewellery, Christmas boxes, decorations & sweets. Health & beauty items, scentsy candles, face painting, plus more, will be available for your to purchase on the day. Enjoy some comfort food and roasted chestnuts from 'Parky's' fully loaded catering. To close the day, we are delighted that we will be joined by children from Stagecoach performing arts school, who will be leading us with some Christmas Carols. There will also be mince pies to enjoy too. Entry is FREE for all, so come along with your friends & family and enjoy the festive atmosphere, here at Springwood Community Centre. Ho Ho Ho  Springwood Family Active are hosting the annual Children's Christmas party on Sunday 2nd December 2018.
Crafts include creating & making Christmas cards & festive decorations and cookie decorating. From 2pm - 4pm we will be joined by *FitnFunkey* who will be creating the party atmosphere with a Disco & games. This year the children can also enjoy a buffet to enjoy. And of course, no Christmas party would be complete without a visit to Father Christmas in his grotto. At 4:30pm, we will be joined by the children from performing arts school,'Stagecoach'. to lead us with some Christmas Carols to complete our festive day. Tickets go on sale at the office on Monday 5th November. £5.00 per child.  Have you ever thought about working in a voluntary post before? Then we'd love to hear from you.
We are looking for a new volunteer treasurer to join us at the centre. Knowledge of internet banking and banking procedures, financial knowledge for grant applications to be submitted, knowledge of spread sheets and sage accounts an advantage but not compulsory. The successful candidate will also be available for our bi-monthly committee meetings and our annual general meeting.
