We are looking for a new volunteer treasurer to join us at the centre.
Knowledge of internet banking and banking procedures, financial knowledge for grant applications to be submitted, knowledge of spread sheets and sage accounts an advantage but not compulsory.
The successful candidate will also be available for our bi-monthly committee meetings and our annual general meeting.

Springwood families volunteers have been organising some fun events and activities for the summer holidays, starting off with a Talent show on Wednesday 25th July, there will be crafts to make including puppets and props for you to put on a great performance, there will also be a prize for the best performer on the day.
Sit back, grab your popcorn and a drink and enjoy a viewing of the greatest showman on Wednesday 1st August, may include face painting (time depending).
Put on your favourite prince or princess costume on Wednesday 8th August for a fun party. Make a tiara, crown, wand and or sword to complete your outfit, then enjoy games, music and food (provided).
Feeling crafty, well Wednesday 22nd August is just for you. We will be making & decorating, salt & play dough to make in to some beautiful crafts and also rock painting. Feeling hungry? You will also be making cookies and cakes on the day.
To complete the summer holidays, Springwood Families will be holding a fun sports day, so come dressed in your sports clothes and get ready for sack races, football and rounders (weather depending).
Guests are welcome to bring their lunch along to the sessions.
Only £1.00 per family, includes tea & coffee.

We had a good turnout local residents at our annual summer fayre, despite the weather being incredibly hot and humid on the day.
Big Noise Samba Community band opened the fayre with a fantastic performance and later did a workshop for people attending. They were followed by *FitnFunkey* with fitness fun and later on in the day we were treated with singing and dance performances by the pupils at Sian Godddards Academy of Dance
Adults and children joined in separate games of 'Tug o War' and Donut fun, they also enjoyed fun fair rides, bouncy castle, snow cones, photo booth, fantastic prizes on the tombola plus much more.
Our stall holders on the day were fantastic and had some very beautiful items.
A huge 'Thank you' to every one of you who came along on the day and supported us. We are truly grateful.
Our next quiz night will be Saturday 22nd September 2018.

We are looking forward to holding our very own Christmas Market on Sunday 3rd December.
Pop along and see what goodies you can find from a variety of stalls.
Buy yourself or someone you love a beautiful Christmas wreath, maybe you want to get the children a Christmas Eve box or find that extra special Christmas decoration for your home and of course a Christmas Market would not be the same without some tasty Jams & chutneys.
Entrance is FREE and doors open at 12 noon.

Springwood Community Partnership is a registered charity and also in need of nominations for new Trustees.
Trustees carry out an important function, so if you would like to take a roll on the Management Committee please ensure you complete a nomination form which is available from the office at the Springwood building.

Thank you to everyone who came along on the morning of Friday 29th September, to join us in taking part in 'The Worlds biggest coffee morning'. Some beautiful cakes were made and donated and helped us to raise £177.92.

Well done to Mark, one of our caretakers, his dad and nephew who completed a charity walk on Sunday 24th September at Castle Field in Southsea, raising money for Alzheimer's Society.
Mark and his family have been affected by Alzheimer's and decided they would like to take part in the sponsored walk.
Well done to everyone who helped raise money on the day.
